Brussels, 8 April 2022 – Today during the online ceremony with EC Commissioner Thierry Breton, MVNO Europe signed the Joint Statement with EU and Ukrainian operators on connectivity in support of refugees from Ukraine

Following voluntary initiatives taken by its members since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, and preparatory work on a coordinated approach in the past weeks, MVNO Europe today participated in the online ceremony hosted by EC Commissioner for the Internal Market Thierry Breton to sign the Joint Statement.

The Joint Statement explains the efforts that our members and other telecommunications operators have made, and will continue to make, to provide connectivity support on a collaborative basis to those fleeing their home to safety in the European Union in these difficult times.

We thank the European Commission, the European Parliament, BEREC, the European and Ukrainian operators and the other associations for their collaboration.
