MVNO Europe has issued an open letter warning that the Digital Networks Act (DNA) should not allow for further market concentration if it is at the expense of competition. The association stresses that Europe’s digital strength relies on diversity and non-discriminatory wholesale access, noting that MVNOs still face barriers that limit innovation, choice, and cross-border services – especially in market segments such as IoT, M2M and connected vehicles.
The letter calls on the Commission to safeguard core EECC provisions, including non-discriminatory wholesale access and the Significant Market Power regime. MVNO Europe also urges clearer EU-wide rules for IoT and connected services, permanent roaming for industrial connectivity, and multi-network access across Member States to secure a competitive, resilient Single Market.
